Daiso/Saizen: Strap Minigloss - Rose

I just LOVE going to Saizen. Saizen (Daiso in Japan) is this huge mini-mart/convenience store that has all items cost at P85 (roughly $2.04). Think of it as a dollar store in the US. A lot of nifty stuff are sold in there that ranges from school supplies, toys and party favors, house decors and fixes, kitchen-related stuff (sometimes pans too!), food, accessories, and the like. It's very interesting to go there since you really don't know what to expect, and knowing Japanese, they are very creative and innovative.



But I won't be talking about the store today, but my cosmetic find there. Yes, they sell skin care and cosmetics too.

Daiso didn't say much about this in English. But it has a lot of warnings at the back. I'll show it later on.

Here's a list of reasons why I bought this:

• Cute


• Handy since it will definitely be dangling at my phone


• Cheap


• Did I say cute already?

This is very, very small - think just o.2g. It is advertised on its packaging that its main purpose is for touch-ups. Since we are attached so much to our mobile phones, this will be easy (and darn cute) to bring around.

There are 3 shades in the store, but if I'm not mistaken, they are really 5 of them. I got this since this was the safest color, and looked the prettiest.



This lipgloss only comes in this size. You can see how much shimmer there is! The gloss doesn't have any scent so sensitive noses will love this.

Once applied, the gloss is very shimmery and dewy on the lips. It didn't have much color though. If you'd want a gloss with a good color pay-off, better look somewhere else.

Another con about this product would be one dip and swipe isn't enough to cover 1 lip. You'd probably need to swipe and dip 4 times to get a good lip coverage and shine.



When I had this with my phone, I do get a lot of looks from strangers I meet, especially from those younger than me. Such a cute, cute thing!



This might be a good buy to teenagers due to its packaging and whole lot of shimmer and shine. Younger adults would probably tote around with this, but might rarely use this for touch-ups.



This was a novel purchase, other than that I don't see myself coming for it. I will still go back to the store, but not to purchase this.

On other stuff: Did you see the unveiling of the iPhone 5? Me wants it! I've always wanted an iPhone, and that will be my first. I can use that to take pics of places, restos, food, beauty finds etc without being too obvious. Hehehe. :D So excited!
