Since it's still cold in the northern hemisphere, I bet most of you are thinking of your summer getaway - beaches, sun and tan. Add coconut trees in the background too. But before you hit the beach, ensure that your skin is protected.

One thing about holidays is that my projects seem to kill me when holidays are about to come, so I'd be too busy doing work. Too busy not to buy or do something holiday-related. Yes, I am part of the group who did a mad Christmas rush in bazaars and malls just because I haven't got anyone anything 2 weeks before Christmas.

Enough with the holiday talk, let's get to the review!

One of the things I brought with me on my 4-day birthday vacation was 3 items that protect me from the sun. One of them was The Face Shop's Clean Face Oil Free Sun Cream.

Does this look familiar to you? This seems closely resembles their discontinued Quick & Clean Oil Free Sun Cream. They even carry the same SPF and PA category.

Will this be a good replacement to its elder sister?

When I was walking from the parking lot to the office, the rain started to pour. And my puny umbrella did little to save the bottom of my jeans and shoes. Ugh.  So I decided to post something related to the sun today, just an attempt to "brighten" my day. Hope tonight would be better since there's this sale! :)

Feeling the aftermath of the Skinfood's Tomato Sun Cream SPF 36 PA++, I ventured out to find another sun cream. I may need to pick up an oil free one so I won't get those nasty bumps.

Does The Face Shop have the answer to my problem?

I live in a tropical country. So it's sunny most of the time, but I don't see people getting too serious on protecting their skin from the sun (except when you're out on a vacation somewhere).

When the SA tried to talk to me into buying this, I wasn't convinced - I'm part of the population who is not particular with wearing sunblocks on regular days. I only bought this one because 1) I don't have such item, and 2) I want to get their lifetime membership card.
