On Cooking: French Toast with Maple Syrup and Bacon

Why yes, I'm posting again about French toast.

Blame it on my previous entries that had me lurking around pinterest looking at pretty French toast pictures.

And you know what? I just had to. (HOW CAN YOU NOT, I ASK. HOW CAN YOU NOT.)

New bread had arrived yesterday, and the preservatives ensure it won't go stale just yet, but I wanted that decadent eggy maply-syrupy goodness with bacon RIGHT NOW. So I indulged: cooked the toast the way I did previously minus the cinnamon, and threw in the bacon right after.

And reader, let me tell you, one crappy picture says more than a thousand words:
