When I was back in Subic, I was able to drop by this Beauty Credit store (perhaps the only accredited Beauty Credit reseller here in my country). One of the items I picked is this really, really cute pact.

I know, I know. I've been so absent lately. So long hiatus in posting here! It's not that I'm lazy. I'm so swamped with work for since April til June, with my long-awaited promotion is in jeopardy. It's a make-or-break, so I had to allocate time.

But since I'm in somewhat calm waters right now (or burned out to do anything), I've decided to finally post. When I wasn't posting, it doesn't mean I'm not trying out stuff. I did try a lot of stuff (which adds more backlog than I already have). And I hauled. A LOT. Last haul I posted was last January, which makes such a good time to show my hauls since March til June.

The Body Shop: Vitamin E Cool BB Cream Review

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share this item with you today. Even if I had loads of items have to do. And the backlogs that should go here first than this item. But I just had to share it just now!

Yesterday noon, I received an invitation via SMS from The Body Shop. Yes, I am a LYB (Love your body) member so I get these a lot. But this one was an invitation to take home The Body Shop's Vitamin E Cool BB Cream. All I had to do was reply a "yes" and to which location. They cited 2: SM Megamall for today while Trinoma for tomorrow. So of course I said yes since I'm so near Megamall!

So now, here it is!

Majolica Majorca: Blood On Review

Hello! How have you been guys today? Right now, I'm feeling under the weather but with deadlines to keep, I can't just lay down and rest.  Besides, I'm on my vacation leave for 2 days next week. Woo!

Despite of me being under the weather, I had to put something on my face to make me look less sickly and tired, and more healthy. The item I shall be reviewing today is something I went crazy purchasing over. Imagine, I bought 4 of these items (while most, I have given away).

Majolica Majorca released a limited edition line last year. Apart from their usual mascara (Lash King) releases and a perfume, one of them was the Blood On lip and cheek tint. I heard a lot of good reviews, and I noticed how fast (considering the price) this went off the shelves of Majolica Majorca. So I got myself convinced to grab hold of one (plus three).

The Face Shop: Lovely ME:EX Milky Tint in 01 Baby Pink Review

There was a phase in my make-up life that I simply loved milky tints. I loved them so much that I bought colors from various brands such as Peripera, Etude House and The Face Shop. It didn't matter if I had duplicate colors across the brands (example: peach from Peripera, The Face Shop and Etude House). I absolutely love them.

I know I haven't been posting lately - work, personal life, and health issues. Been sick for the past few days, and such a horrible timing too!

Since I'm sick, I don't normally try new items. Most of my skin care is currently at HG items (except for facial wash, hehe!). Likewise to some make-up.

However, what I was busy to for the past few days was hauling items. Yes, hauling. And almost every week, I would get something off the store.

Etude House: Follow Me Tint SPF 13 in #1 Vary Pink Review

Good sunny day to everyone! It's a good Saturday noon that there seems nothing for me to do. Which is so odd. I would like to go out and frolic somewhere - like eat in a good Japanese resto I'm eyeing at. Sadly, I'm stuck at home. So I decided to put in a review. Afterall, when was my last review?

In love, no matter how much you like the person but it seems that you aren't a good match. And what's left of you to do is to let go. And this is EXACTLY how I felt with Etude House's Follow Me Tint SPF 13 #1 Vary Pink.

If there's another thing my pocket hates aside from color-changing cosmetics, sales, reach this amount and you'll get stuff for free, and limited edition, it's the "last one in stock, and we don't know when we'll restock" item. And that is the whole reason my haul last week inflated to this one. 

Aside from the fact that I'm stressed and all.

Yes, huge and bulging out. Just imagine how I manage to sneak this in. 

Product Review: Tony Moly: Prestige Eyeliner Gel

Not so brand new. You can already see the writing erased due to it being a couple of months old. 

This is actually already a late blog post since I made this purchase way back in September of 2012 (Paul bought it for me as an Anniversary gift). We did the product shoot for this in October, all this while thinking that we erased the photos but as I was going through our photos for our year end in photos lo! and behold! I saw the photos stashed away in one of our folders so here I am now months and months after making this late blog post. 

One advantage of writing this product review after a few months is that I've already been using the product for some time and here is what I have to say about it:

Sorry for not posting as consistent as before. When the holidays are over, I will try my best to post more. :) I have A LOT of leaves set for next year, thanks to my extreme overtime since October. 

And my pile of unused make-up is getting bigger. Must use them!

One of the items I did show you few posts back was the Mineral Skin-Fit Blusher I bought out of whim. And I've been using this for a few months already.

Will this become a staple in my make-up pouch?

Haru's Product Haul: December 6, 2012 (Nature Republic)

Just came back from my beach vacation weekend. While most of the Northern Hemisphere are freezing their butts off, I went to the beach! Hahaha!

Lovely, lovely late afternoon sun on a white sand beach. :D It's my first time to go to Boracay! I know, I know. I've been to a few countries but I haven't gone around in my own. XD

So I did mention in my last post that Nature Republic is open. And yes, the night before my vacation, I did haul a few items from them.

Beauty Credit: Lovely Cheek Color in PK01 Vanilla Pink Review

Sorry for slacking out with my posts again. Last week was insanely busy. I'm just glad I was able to get the weekend + Friday off. Last Friday was a local holiday and even if my project mates went to work, I didn't have too since I was mostly finished. I needed to re-validate because of the recent virus attack we had in the lab. Stupid IT for not detecting it early on. It came from them!

Since I had my morning Starbucks drink to escape my new boss from her normal early morning updates which I feel so unfortunate that she does this to me since my teammates are late and I'm early to get my morning starting, I feel so powered up to do a post. Yes, a long delayed post. 

When I go to Subic, I'd normally drop by the Beauty Credit shop over there. The shop looks shady and unappealing, but I don't mind since, hey, good, cheap Korean make-up. Hehehe. Unfortunately, when I go there armed with money, they tend to be out of stock of the items I want. But when I go there with not so much money, well, they tend to have stocks! Such fate. (For those who are wondering if they accept credit cards, I'm not sure that's why I pay in cash)

And this was one of the moments that they don't have stocks, and I have money. I bought the Lovely Cheek Color in PK01 Vanilla Pink because I didn't want to go home empty-handed.

Hi everyone! I know I've been terribly busy lately, and I'm happy to say that we just reached a milestone at work! Finally!!!!!

Since I got this Saturday to myself, my mom and I went to this sort of warehouse sale and bought a handful of items for less. Thank you so much to my co-workers for sharing with me about it! Out of the entire sale, I only got 2 items for myself while the rest are for my family members. Aw, aren't I such a sweet, sweet daughter/sister?

But what made my day was when I bought this really kawaii keychain from Saizen (Daiso, in Japan). And since this site is all about sharing adorable and lovely items, I simply cannot keep this to myself.

Peripera: Peri's Tint Milk in #02 Milky Peach Review

I have this Milky Tint craze going on. I get my hands on milk tints whenever I can. I've been controlling myself from hauling Tony Moly's while  I haven't used the ones from The Face Shop and Etude House.

But when I saw Peripera's Peri's Tint Milk go on sale from a reseller, I just had to get it.

And it arrived in my house 2 days after.

They say this is one of the items that made Peripera famous even if it's a new company. I wonder if it's true.

Skinfood: Sweet Almond Eyeliner in #1 Almond Black Review

So sorry readers! My posts had been irregular since October. It's been crazy lately! Aside from me recovering my pocket/credit card from my non-cosmetic splurges (that means you, Starbucks Promo!)  and saving up for the Christmas Season x iPhone 5 x car maintenance, work had been eating up much of my non-work time (time allocated for my personal/family life, blogging, writing, researching and buying make-up, etc). Even sleep time! I had been sleeping for 2-4 hours a day on an average weekday. >.> It's insane! So my dark circles are more prominent on my pale, anemic skin. :))) And I'm getting bruises all over. Don't know how I got that.

So while I was looking at my backlogs, I decided to talk about Skinfood's Sweet Almond Eyeliner in #1 Almond Black.

I never had appreciated eyeliners. I don't know how to use them, and it gives more emphasis on my dark circles (and I don't need more of that).

When the mall store of Skinfood had a sale, I picked up Sweet Almond Eyeliner in #1 Almond Black. Why? Because I didn't have ANY eyeliners in my make-up arsenal. 

This was at 50%, so what have I got to lose?

Revlon: ColorStay Lipcolor in 09 Fawn Review

Hi everyone! How was your weekend? Mine refreshed me a lot. And I'm happy to say that my online order from the new reseller came in last Friday. Had this HUGE smile on my face when I got the package. I'll show you probably in my next post on the 2 items I bought. <3

For today, let's rest a bit from Korean products and discuss something Western-related. For today's review, I picked Maybelline's ColorStay. Do note that this is an old product.

If I would have a set of favorite aunts, the one who gave me Revlon's ColorStay Lipcolor in 09 Fawn would be found at the top 3. She's such a cool aunt. She knows what color matches me. Even when she buys clothes and shoes for me as a present. This came in with the Elizabeth Arden's 2 Eyeshadow.  Imagine how old this is.

I still have it with me, but I don't use it anymore.

Tony Moly: Mineral Skin-Fit BB Concealer SPF30 in 01 Cover Light Review

Finally, it's Friday! I am very much looking forward to the weekend. :D I plan to sleep, go to the dentist, write, go out with my family and try some of my make-up. :) I'll try to do a little exercise. I know I gained weight from all that eating when we were going under some serious overtime. >.< I can see it on my face and on my tummy. At this rate, I'd be back to my original weight before I started to do my diet. And being heavier beyond my comfort zone makes me more susceptible to sickness. >.<

Enough with my weight woes, on to the review!

While I was waiting for the restock of Tony Moly's Baby Doll Pot Concealer in their mall store, the SA suggested I'd go for another concealer, Mineral Skin-Fit BB Concealer SPF30. And I grabbed it since I didn't want to go home empty-handed.

And it is quite rare to find a concealer that carries SPF. I know, I'm trying to rationalize my purchase again. Oh and it has the "BB" name slapped on it. 

Tony Moly: Tony Tints in #1 Cherry Pink and #2 Red Apple Review

I came early today, and I'm not in the mood to do anything noteworthy today. Actually frustrated at work due to a series of events. I don't want to even discuss it. So, I'd be doing a review on my office drawer (and bag) staple tints. Well, as if I'm not carrying way too much lip colors already!

One of Tony Moly's famous tints are the Tony Tints. And of course, I took the plunge in buying both colors just because I want them. Or if I'm not mistaken, I bought this out of work-related stress. Retail therapy is a good stress reliever but bad for the pocket. Haha!
