Etude House: Silk Scarf Hair Shampoo Review

Tags: Beauty, Etude House, Hair, Hair Care, Shampoo, Korean, Review, Silk Scarf hair Shampoo, Skin Care,

There was a time early this year that I began realizing that I am purchasing so much make-up that I don't even use (still got tons of untouched make-up stored away in my box). Likewise with skin care! So I started rationalizing my purchases. So I began buying hair care products. Given the limitation that Etude House here in my country, I was only able to get this.

Tony Moly: Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub Review

One of the most interesting products of Tony Moly that I kept on touching while I was in their store was the Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub. Why? See for yourself.

Isn't it such a curious little thing?

Etude House: Silk Scarf - Hologram Hair Serum Review

Don't you just hate it when your hair is all frizzy and has this off scent when it's already noon? I had that in mind when I got Etude House's Silk Scarf Hologram Hair Serum.

IMG_0115Or was I just putting out reason to buy this?

Maybelline: Dream Mousse Concealer in Ivory Review

One of the items I bought way back from this megatrade hall sale was this very popular concealer, who was discontinued months back.

Yes! This is Maybelline's Dream Mousse Concealer.

Beauty Credit: Lovely Powder Pact Matt in #23 Natural Beige Review

When I was back in Subic, I was able to drop by this Beauty Credit store (perhaps the only accredited Beauty Credit reseller here in my country). One of the items I picked is this really, really cute pact.

The Body Shop: Vitamin E Cool BB Cream Review

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share this item with you today. Even if I had loads of items have to do. And the backlogs that should go here first than this item. But I just had to share it just now!

Yesterday noon, I received an invitation via SMS from The Body Shop. Yes, I am a LYB (Love your body) member so I get these a lot. But this one was an invitation to take home The Body Shop's Vitamin E Cool BB Cream. All I had to do was reply a "yes" and to which location. They cited 2: SM Megamall for today while Trinoma for tomorrow. So of course I said yes since I'm so near Megamall!

So now, here it is!

Majolica Majorca: Blood On Review

Hello! How have you been guys today? Right now, I'm feeling under the weather but with deadlines to keep, I can't just lay down and rest.  Besides, I'm on my vacation leave for 2 days next week. Woo!

Despite of me being under the weather, I had to put something on my face to make me look less sickly and tired, and more healthy. The item I shall be reviewing today is something I went crazy purchasing over. Imagine, I bought 4 of these items (while most, I have given away).

Majolica Majorca released a limited edition line last year. Apart from their usual mascara (Lash King) releases and a perfume, one of them was the Blood On lip and cheek tint. I heard a lot of good reviews, and I noticed how fast (considering the price) this went off the shelves of Majolica Majorca. So I got myself convinced to grab hold of one (plus three).

Charming packaging, isn't it?

Nature Republic: Fresh Farm Apple Foam Cleanser Review

Hi everyone. I know I've been very quiet in my blog lately. So sorry bout that. Been busy with work and Guild Wars 2 so much that I barely had time for writing a review. But I assure you I've been trying a lot of stuff lately. Plus a handful of backlogs of products!

I decided to post this today, because I recently had a mini-heart attack. I know I took photos of this post's product review, but I can't find it! I thought I accidentally deleted it. My recent most catalogue of product swatches are in my work computer, but the newer shots are in my house laptop. I tend to overwrite my house laptop after I update my work computer. But in this case, I seemed to have overwritten it. Luckily, I had a back-up. Phew! This has been a long introduction, so on with the review!

On my first haul in Nature Republic, when the store was only days old in Megamall, I was able to accumulate enough to earn myself their membership card. With this came a wonderful freebie!

Do all good things come in as freebies?

The Face Shop: Lovely ME:EX Milky Tint in 01 Baby Pink Review

There was a phase in my make-up life that I simply loved milky tints. I loved them so much that I bought colors from various brands such as Peripera, Etude House and The Face Shop. It didn't matter if I had duplicate colors across the brands (example: peach from Peripera, The Face Shop and Etude House). I absolutely love them.

Since I've reviewed on my Peripera Milky Tint, let's move to The Face Shop.Do note that this is one of the 2 colors I bought from them. Meet The Face Shop's Lovely ME:EX Milky Tint in 01 Baby Pink.

Etude House: Follow Me Tint SPF 13 in #1 Vary Pink Review

Good sunny day to everyone! It's a good Saturday noon that there seems nothing for me to do. Which is so odd. I would like to go out and frolic somewhere - like eat in a good Japanese resto I'm eyeing at. Sadly, I'm stuck at home. So I decided to put in a review. Afterall, when was my last review?

In love, no matter how much you like the person but it seems that you aren't a good match. And what's left of you to do is to let go. And this is EXACTLY how I felt with Etude House's Follow Me Tint SPF 13 #1 Vary Pink.

Nature Republic: Blemish Lab Clear Spot Solution Review

Sorry for being absent lately! Work's been crazy. A lot has happened, and I'd do my best to make it up to you by posting 2 unique products. Well, at least for my blog that is.

Lately, acne had been a terrible problem for me. So terrible that I had to try new items so as I can prevent them from growing. It's been stressful for the last few months and in it will again still be in the coming months.
I got this from my first Nature Republic haul. And I have to be honest with you on the fact that I have no background research when I bought this.
???????????????????????????????
Will it help alleviate my acne woes?

Tony Moly: Shiny Foot Peeling Liquid Review

Because of my slippers weekend habit, and slippers all day in Boracay, my feet became dry and rough. It also gave me cracked heels. I thought of scrubbing it, but scrubbing just make it hurt. So the thought of using peeling liquid crossed my mind. Then again, anything peeling-related scares me. I have skin allergies and was diagnosed with skin asthma when I was a child. Now, it occurs only on specific occasions but not as horrible as when I was younger.

My mom actually was the one who introduced the concept of peeling liquid. And as of this writing, she had tried it twice. She saw it in some show few months back, and inquired to me about it. So I got her the one (from Tony Moly also), with the disclaimer, "I haven't tried it myself so I'm not entirely sure if this brand is effective or what." I guess she was happy with the results that's why she asked me to buy her another set. And that's when I had the courage to buy one for myself.
???????????????????????????????
Will this work? I'm pretty anxious to find out.

***WARNING: This is going to be a long post/review. Brace yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you. Oh, and from the disgusting peeling foot photo.

Sunplay: Super Block SPF 130 PA +++ Review

How are you everyone? I know, I know I haven't been posting much reviews lately. My paying job is requiring more from me. But I've been trying a lot of stuff that will interest you behind the scenes. All good!

Since it's still cold in the northern hemisphere, I bet most of you are thinking of your summer getaway - beaches, sun and tan. Add coconut trees in the background too. But before you hit the beach, ensure that your skin is protected.
???????????????????????????????
And this is what I brought with me when I went to the beach last December. Look at that SPF and PA value!

The Body Shop: Olive Oil - Dry Oil Mist Review

If my face is combi (oily/normal or normal/dry), the rest of my skin would be dry to extremely dry. In fact, it's so dry that you can write your name on it. So moisturizing is very important. But as I had told you previously, I am very lazy when it comes to moisturizing most of the time.

One of the products I used since way back was The Body Shop's Olive Oil - Dry Oil Mist. And this is all thanks to my mom.

So when the store had a sale, I just had to grab this. Hello, 40% off!

Tony Moly: Perfect Micro Scrub Foam Review

Hi everyone! Sorry for being out for so long. Work has been its unusual hectic self so I barely had the time to post something. It's been all about OTYs and my boss being all weird, so we had no choice but to stand up for ourselves. It was so busy that sleep had been subsidized. But hey, it's again the calm before the storm, so better make the most of out it.

This review is a long delayed one. It should have followed right after the Floria Flower Energy Foam Cleanser Review, but hey, my current job puts pays my bills so it triumphed over my hobby.

I was on a scout for a good facial scrub that will match my skin. And before, Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub was too darn expensive for a trial in Tony Moly's skin care line. So the SA gave me this since it was the next scrub available. And it was positioned beside the Floria Foam Cleanser. Why not take it? Afterall, this is just an experiment... On my face.

Please be nice to me!

Tony Moly: Floria Flower Energy Foam Cleanser Review

Before the week ends, I shall make a review. It's been quite busy again since I started to go to work (when I should have been on leave). I will be moving my offsets to another date. Hehehe. And I've got plenty of them. My boss is being very biased with me and my plotting of my leaves. She tends to favor my other colleagues more over me. She's very irrational and forgetful when it comes to my leave schedule. So unfair of her. And I don't even know what I did to her to be treated this way. So good luck with me plotting my leaves.

Enough with my work-related woes, on to the review!

I did mention last October that I bought Floria Flower Energy Foam Cleanser because I was in search of a good cleanser. So I've been using this since November, along with Perfect Mirco Scrub Foam. And I bet it's about time I share with you my thoughts about this.

Tony Moly: Mineral Skin-Fit Snow Blusher in #03 Rose Pink Review

Sorry for not posting as consistent as before. When the holidays are over, I will try my best to post more. :) I have A LOT of leaves set for next year, thanks to my extreme overtime since October.

And my pile of unused make-up is getting bigger. Must use them!

One of the items I did show you few posts back was the Mineral Skin-Fit Blusher I bought out of whim. And I've been using this for a few months already.
Will this become a staple in my make-up pouch?

The Face Shop: Clean Face Oil Free Sun Cream Review

So you thought I'd end the week without a post. You're wrong.

One thing about holidays is that my projects seem to kill me when holidays are about to come, so I'd be too busy doing work. Too busy not to buy or do something holiday-related. Yes, I am part of the group who did a mad Christmas rush in bazaars and malls just because I haven't got anyone anything 2 weeks before Christmas.

Enough with the holiday talk, let's get to the review!

One of the things I brought with me on my 4-day birthday vacation was 3 items that protect me from the sun. One of them was The Face Shop's Clean Face Oil Free Sun Cream.
IMG_0037
Does this look familiar to you? This seems closely resembles their discontinued Quick & Clean Oil Free Sun Cream. They even carry the same SPF and PA category.

Will this be a good replacement to its elder sister?

Daiso/Saizen: Charcoal Face Mask Review

Prepare to be grossed out with today's post! *evil laugh*

I normally have crazes over certain products in any given period of time. I think I mentioned that I used to have a tint craze, milky tint craze, lippies that change color craze, facial wash craze, eye cream craze, make-up remover craze and concealer craze. But did I mention that I also underwent a blackhead remover craze?

Oh yes. I did. And one of my purchases was Saizen's (Daiso's) Charcoal Face Mask.

Beauty Credit: Lovely Cheek Color in PK01 Vanilla Pink Review

Sorry for slacking out with my posts again. Last week was insanely busy. I'm just glad I was able to get the weekend + Friday off. Last Friday was a local holiday and even if my project mates went to work, I didn't have too since I was mostly finished. I needed to re-validate because of the recent virus attack we had in the lab. Stupid IT for not detecting it early on. It came from them!

Since I had my morning Starbucks drink to escape my new boss from her normal early morning updates which I feel so unfortunate that she does this to me since my teammates are late and I'm early to get my morning starting, I feel so powered up to do a post. Yes, a long delayed post.

When I go to Subic, I'd normally drop by the Beauty Credit shop over there. The shop looks shady and unappealing, but I don't mind since, hey, good, cheap Korean make-up. Hehehe. Unfortunately, when I go there armed with money, they tend to be out of stock of the items I want. But when I go there with not so much money, well, they tend to have stocks! Such fate. (For those who are wondering if they accept credit cards, I'm not sure that's why I pay in cash)

And this was one of the moments that they don't have stocks, and I have money. I bought the Lovely Cheek Color in PK01 Vanilla Pink because I didn't want to go home empty-handed.
