Etude House: Silk Scarf Hair Shampoo Review

Tags: Beauty, Etude House, Hair, Hair Care, Shampoo, Korean, Review, Silk Scarf hair Shampoo, Skin Care,

There was a time early this year that I began realizing that I am purchasing so much make-up that I don't even use (still got tons of untouched make-up stored away in my box). Likewise with skin care! So I started rationalizing my purchases. So I began buying hair care products. Given the limitation that Etude House here in my country, I was only able to get this.

Tony Moly: Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub Review

One of the most interesting products of Tony Moly that I kept on touching while I was in their store was the Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub. Why? See for yourself.

Isn't it such a curious little thing?

Etude House: Silk Scarf - Hologram Hair Serum Review

Don't you just hate it when your hair is all frizzy and has this off scent when it's already noon? I had that in mind when I got Etude House's Silk Scarf Hologram Hair Serum.

Maybelline: Dream Mousse Concealer in Ivory Review

One of the items I bought way back from this megatrade hall sale was this very popular concealer, who was discontinued months back.

Yes! This is Maybelline's Dream Mousse Concealer.

Beauty Credit: Lovely Powder Pact Matt in #23 Natural Beige Review

When I was back in Subic, I was able to drop by this Beauty Credit store (perhaps the only accredited Beauty Credit reseller here in my country). One of the items I picked is this really, really cute pact.

Haru's Product Haul: March - June (Etude House, Missha, Nature Republic, The Body Shop, Benefit)

I know, I know. I've been so absent lately. So long hiatus in posting here! It's not that I'm lazy. I'm so swamped with work for since April til June, with my long-awaited promotion is in jeopardy. It's a make-or-break, so I had to allocate time.

But since I'm in somewhat calm waters right now (or burned out to do anything), I've decided to finally post. When I wasn't posting, it doesn't mean I'm not trying out stuff. I did try a lot of stuff (which adds more backlog than I already have). And I hauled. A LOT. Last haul I posted was last January, which makes such a good time to show my hauls since March til June.

The Body Shop: Vitamin E Cool BB Cream Review

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share this item with you today. Even if I had loads of items have to do. And the backlogs that should go here first than this item. But I just had to share it just now!

Yesterday noon, I received an invitation via SMS from The Body Shop. Yes, I am a LYB (Love your body) member so I get these a lot. But this one was an invitation to take home The Body Shop's Vitamin E Cool BB Cream. All I had to do was reply a "yes" and to which location. They cited 2: SM Megamall for today while Trinoma for tomorrow. So of course I said yes since I'm so near Megamall!

So now, here it is!

Haru's Random Thoughts: Missed Posting!

Hey Everyone!

It's been crazily busy with the sudden turn of events. So busy that I cannot even construct a decent review. And I am very well aware of my backlogs. Which is tons!

Work had been really crazy since the start of this year, and for the past month, I've been working on 10-12 hours a day. Boo, no overtime pay.

Then again, I'm also preoccupied with tons of non-work related stuff, which I can easily summarize in the following photos (all thanks to my iPhone. I don't have to bring that heavy camera around):

On Cooking: French Toast with Maple Syrup and Bacon

Why yes, I'm posting again about French toast.

Blame it on my previous entries that had me lurking around pinterest looking at pretty French toast pictures.

And you know what? I just had to. (HOW CAN YOU NOT, I ASK. HOW CAN YOU NOT.)

On Cooking: Scrambled Egg with Garlic, Onion and Tomato

It's not an omelette. Because omelettes look pretty and clean, and this is neither.

On Cooking: Making Really Soggy Cinnamon French Toast

All the stereotyping I'd absorbed from Hollywood has made me think putting "French" before a noun automatically makes it sound haute -- or snooty. Take your pick (exception: French fries).
Beware.

But French toast is really just bread dunked into a mixture made up of beaten eggs and et ceteras -- milk, sugar, vanilla, hbzmdrohmaesnfgjmyrkldiy -- and fried. At least to my novice feelers, it's a simple, easy way to spice up regular toast, and a good way to start cooking -- toasting bread was probably the first thing about food preparation you learned how to do.

On Cooking: Chef Todd Mohr Videos for the Beginner Cook

As I'd mentioned, formal education has corrupted me enough that I tend to fall back on The Lecture when learning something new. Standing in the kitchen watching an egg cook is fine and all, but the note-taking! The rules/theory/whatever! It's the nerd in me. Give me a sit-down and then bring in the DIYs and Trial and Errors all you want, I'm now Empowered by Information, ha!

The Reluctant Gourmet (hereafter mostly referred to as RG) has articles upon articles, yes, but let me make a detour:

Majolica Majorca: Blood On Review

Hello! How have you been guys today? Right now, I'm feeling under the weather but with deadlines to keep, I can't just lay down and rest.  Besides, I'm on my vacation leave for 2 days next week. Woo!

Despite of me being under the weather, I had to put something on my face to make me look less sickly and tired, and more healthy. The item I shall be reviewing today is something I went crazy purchasing over. Imagine, I bought 4 of these items (while most, I have given away).

Majolica Majorca released a limited edition line last year. Apart from their usual mascara (Lash King) releases and a perfume, one of them was the Blood On lip and cheek tint. I heard a lot of good reviews, and I noticed how fast (considering the price) this went off the shelves of Majolica Majorca. So I got myself convinced to grab hold of one (plus three).

Charming packaging, isn't it?

On Cooking: One Wannabe-Home Cook's History Re Cooking So Far

Image courtesy of marin at FreeDigitalPhotos.net.
In a word: patchy.

1. I grew up eating whatever came out of the kitchen, but I'd never actually ventured near it except to lick the fudge batter off the mixing bowl when someone made Brownies. Something like that.

2. One day I decided to learn cooking, because why not?

Nature Republic: Fresh Farm Apple Foam Cleanser Review

Hi everyone. I know I've been very quiet in my blog lately. So sorry bout that. Been busy with work and Guild Wars 2 so much that I barely had time for writing a review. But I assure you I've been trying a lot of stuff lately. Plus a handful of backlogs of products!

I decided to post this today, because I recently had a mini-heart attack. I know I took photos of this post's product review, but I can't find it! I thought I accidentally deleted it. My recent most catalogue of product swatches are in my work computer, but the newer shots are in my house laptop. I tend to overwrite my house laptop after I update my work computer. But in this case, I seemed to have overwritten it. Luckily, I had a back-up. Phew! This has been a long introduction, so on with the review!

On my first haul in Nature Republic, when the store was only days old in Megamall, I was able to accumulate enough to earn myself their membership card. With this came a wonderful freebie!

Site: Starfall

I was going to write something long-winded about Starfall, this awesome educational resource for kids, but this enthusiastic woman Jamey Akien at this PalmBreezeCAFE video already said more, and said it better, than I ever could.

The Face Shop: Lovely ME:EX Milky Tint in 01 Baby Pink Review

There was a phase in my make-up life that I simply loved milky tints. I loved them so much that I bought colors from various brands such as Peripera, Etude House and The Face Shop. It didn't matter if I had duplicate colors across the brands (example: peach from Peripera, The Face Shop and Etude House). I absolutely love them.

Since I've reviewed on my Peripera Milky Tint, let's move to The Face Shop.Do note that this is one of the 2 colors I bought from them. Meet The Face Shop's Lovely ME:EX Milky Tint in 01 Baby Pink.

Haru's Product Haul February - March 5, 2013 (Missha, Nature Republic, Etude House and Skinfood)

I know I haven't been posting lately - work, personal life, and health issues. Been sick for the past few days, and such a horrible timing too!

Since I'm sick, I don't normally try new items. Most of my skin care is currently at HG items (except for facial wash, hehe!). Likewise to some make-up.

However, what I was busy to for the past few days was hauling items. Yes, hauling. And almost every week, I would get something off the store.

See what are my recent hauls!
